I would think that if Elizabeth is coming out in September that AG would have had already made the major decisions about her and she probably is already in production. September is only 5 months away and I would be surprised if they didn't even know what she looks like yet!

I absolutely love Kaya's face mold (it's my favorite face of all the AG dolls!) and I am curious to see how it would look on a Caucasian doll, so I hope AG will end up using it for Elizabeth. I think it would fit her shy personality very nicely.
And I don't believe for a second that AG would make Elizabeth a blonde. I believe they have more sense than to change the character so drastically from how she appears (and is described) in the books. AG will be selling a lot of Felicity items, including the books, when all the new things and the movie come out, and you can bet kids will notice if Elizabeth looks nothing like she does in the books.

I'm really curious as to how her hair will be styled and the color. I for one am tired of bangs.
I would also like a doll with very curly hair.

Elizabeth will have blonde hair with curls around her face like Felicity. This may be subject to change.

if anyone has seen the lil' sister Tess, she has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, pale skinn and kaya's type of face mold and she is stunning!
I think that mold can be pulled without the doll looking plain.
And I had thought dollover was kidding.
I remeber a bit back somone saying that they had seen a picture of a doll that was mostly already made but was being fine tuned, like adding a bracelet, and that everyone would be a bit shocked when they saw this doll cause it's not what we were expecting, but that she was gorgouse.
Well, the conspiracy theorist that I am is puttin the two rumors together, but who know.
Me, personally, I can't wait to see elisabeth and she what form she takes, and since I can't see her right now, I am immensly enjoying the speculation about her!

Where did the rumor that Elizabeth will have Kaya's face mold originate?
It was not the Kaya mold we saw on the survey. That doll was a mockup made using an AGOT, (the same one shown in the bathtub in the latest catalogue, only with strands of hair curled into corkscrews in the front). Since she has been discussed so much, I don't think it gives anymore away to say that much. I do NOT think this was Elizabeth, although that was certainly my first reaction. If anyone wants it to be Elizabeth, the survey showed how easy it would be to tun an AGOT into her though, so if anyone wants it to be, just order the GT22G AGOT, grab Felicity's patterns and some pink satin and go for it!
The Forum people may not realise what an AG savvy bunch of respondents they have when they set up surveys and may think they can show something that would provoke a response to their general idea, but we know enough of what is going on to be thinking more specificly. Some surveys call for respondents who are already commited customers, but not many. I think the forum does, consideringt heir method for getting respondents, but they may underestimate the degree of interest we have.
Anyway, how did Kaya's mold figure into this?

Popsie, I looked and couldn't find the original post, but I believe it was Tracy (Kit_Girl) who originally posted that she had spoken to someone at AG and they told her there was a 90% chance Elizabeth would have Kaya's face mold. Also, somehow Curt found the same information and posted a mock-up of what he thought Elizabeth will look like. Not a definite thing, but I think that is where the idea of Kaya's face mold comes in.
I also do not think the doll in the survey was Elizabeth, but I guess we'll all find out in July. Who knows, the question might even have been asked to gauge the opinion on the dress she was wearing. I guess that is the beauty of a survey. There is nothing labeled so you have no idea why you are being asked what you are being asked.

Thanks Kim, I haven't been to Curt's site for a while. I guess it's time.
Ah, I could dream dolls all day long...

I wonder if the blonde haired doll could be one of the other names that AG has patented??
